An Inspector Calls

Written in 1945, this three-act thriller is set in 1912, where the wealthy Birling family is interrogated by Inspector Goole regarding the suicide of a working-class girl, Eva Smith. The Inspector reveals how each family member's selfishness contributed to her death. A story about the issues with capitalism and a privileged society.
